Our Story
Started by Mike Trembly in 2017, Mayoral Quartz is one of the oldest quartz banger companies on the market. Mike has been a scientific glassblower and quartzworker for over 45 years with experience working with chemists and researchers at countless labs and universities across the country creating custom borosilicate and quartz labware. Using this experience, we create one of the highest quality quartz bangers on the market. Every piece of quartz to come out of our shop in Delaware City, DE is made by a single glassblower in small batches to ensure maximum consistency and quality control.
Why are we called Mayoral?
With over 45 years in the industry, you tend to meet a lot of people with common interests. Mike attended and competed in several glassblowing events with fellow glassblower, Tammy Baller, who noticed that Mike seemed to know everyone that stopped to talk to him. She would then go on to call him "The Mayor" due to his popularity at these events. Years later when Mike decided to start making quartz bangers, the brand name would be obvious to him.
